No!

No, I don't think so.

The easiest way is to take driver version 0.5.1 and have a look at the
AM-CLR/RGB/STD patches. There you can see, which functions you have to
implement. For a first working version, which supports no reconfiguration
(no support for differnent camera types) the effort should be not so high.

I think, the important thing is to have te module documentation. Do you
have it. What kind of camera you want to support at first?
