Having reread one of your earlier messages, I believe your driver 
does not support this type of camera (2 tap interline) directly; 
is that correct?  

However, I am still confused:  it would appear that I need a .exo
file, p1b2tn00 (1 8bit byte, 2 taps); yet, the only exo files on the IFC
disk are

Since the ITI config files do not explicitly specify a .exo file, their
driver must select them based on the image geometry parameter.
Does it also generate them?  Or is it somehow doing all this in 
software?

[For example, to get the 10-bit Pulnix TM1010 to work in 10 bit mode, 
I had to first download p2b1tn00.]
