setup problems for PCVision + JAI CV-M1

Hi All,
I'm trying to use the IT-IFG version 0.7 driver with a PCVision board
and JAI CV-M1 camera on a Debian 2.0.38 kernel. The module appears to
load correctly, and the test_itifg program does run (although I can't
seem to get the display to work correctly at present). Unfortunately all
saved files are set to a uniform value of 128. I have checked the camera
setup under NT with no problems, so focus and aperture settings don't
seem to be a problem. I've been using the config files distributed with
the driver - cv-m1-20pll-pcv.cam and cv-m1-vs-pcv.cam. It seems that
there are timeout problems, although I don't understand how to fix
these. I'm sure I must have missed something obvious.

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Logs are enclosed below.
