Yes, you are right. The windows config files specify the value, that is
directly written later into the register. Since we have no special
configuration software, in my opinion it is better to write human readable
values to the config files (e.g if we specify 768, we should get also 768
pixels in x-direction).
The drawback is the lack of compatibility.
