Re: ICPCI/BX chip set/black lines

Thank you very much!  The middle slot works! 

For the record this is an HP with the 440BX - 82443BX chip 
set.  The slot nearest the CPU, which I used originally, 
gave "horizontal" lines which seemed to occur about 256 bytes
into most of the 4K "dma" transfers.  The middle slot just
seems to work.

I want to thank you all, especially Mr. Stein.  I consider
myself in your debt.

I'd still be interested in recommendations.  The computer 
mentioned above is actually rented, and if possible I'd
be more comfortable buying something where all of the
slots worked.
